I had the privilege of photographing Melissa and Toms engagement photos recently. What a fun couple. I met Melissa with her beautiful red hair and green dress! We started out at the Madison Public Library downtown. It’s a wonderful place to take pictures! Tom and Melissa are into books, so it seemed appropriate that the library was tied into their love for each other. We found “I’m So Happy For You” and “The Road” – if you look closely, as the book titles.   Since we were right next door, we went to the Overture Center and were allowed to take a few photos there, thanks to the security guard.  We headed up to Colectivo – a great coffee shop on the square, where I’m sure many a coffee has been had by these two….   Nobody seemed to mind us being there snapping a few quick photos, before heading over to the East side to the Yahara area. Tom and Melissa picked up their dog and met me down by the water. You never know how dogs are going to behave in the moment, but we caught some great moments.  I am so excited for Melissa and Tom’s wedding. Congratulations to you both!
