I was honored to photograph Diana and Georgia’s wedding recently. We have been friends for a few years and I was witness to the romance and friendship developing between them, and now they are married! It was such perfect timing, as the Supreme court made gay marriage a right nationwide the day before they tied the knot.
It was a relaxed day getting ready, a homemade brunch, gift giving, and a couple of mimosas, too. It was so cute to see their daughters be so excited, getting dressed, doing hair, and being such a big part in the celebration. We headed to Tumbledown Barn in Verona for the ceremony and reception, where Georgia’s brother did a spectacular job marrying them. There was love all around this wedding; with fun, laughter, playfulness and lots of dancing! Georgia’s family are musicians, and played a few songs at the reception, including the couple’s first dance. Diana even got onstage and sang a few, too! The food was spectacular – Diana’s brother did a terrific job. There was an abundance of flowers everywhere, which made such a gorgeous sight, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect.
Congratulations to the both of you. I wish you the most joyous life together!
