I was so excited to photograph Kenny and Haley’s wedding! I’ve been a long time fan of Kenny’s from the first time I heard hime play, I heard him as I was walking away and turned right back around and followed the music. He has such a big heart and soul and has found his true love in Haley, who is such a gem. I am so happy for you both and feel so fortunate to have been with you both and your family and friends on your wedding day. It was a very relaxed intimate wedding with close friends and family. I loved the boats cruising beside and around us, and the joining of everyone on the deck of the pontoon, overlooking the lake.
Haley rode in a boat with friends and her dad to meet us out on the pontoon on Lake Monona on a beautiful blue skied, windy day. Nothing could deter anyone from feeling and sharing the love on this day. Kenny was looking sharp and of course Hayley was just a doll! They were married by Jesse (fellow musician and friend) so it was extra special. It was a short, sweet ceremony, with a reading from Haleys dad and Kenny’s brother, and “At Last” being the amazing song that expressed the moment so beautifully.
The joy and love these two have for each other is precious to see and their hearts shine it out for everyone. and how appropriate to be married on a boat, now both at the wheel under the shelter of the Wheelhouse – happy sailing.
We celebrated with champagne and Wheelhouse Whisky and chocolates before heading out to take e a few photos before going the high noon for the reception. It was so great to see all Kenny and Haleys family and friends show up to celebrate with them. Fellow musicians played all night making it a one of a kind wedding. Just perfect. I wish you both all the very best!
Congratulations~
