What an adorable couple Kevin and Courtney are, and what a wonderful fall wedding it was too. The colors stayed with us late this season and I’m so grateful that we had a nice day for Kevin and Courtneys wedding and for their photographic memories.
We started at Whitnall Park for a first look. Kevin was a little nervous, but full of anticipation and excited to see his bride. She looked amazing as she came down the path to the waters edge to see Kevin for the first time. First looks are so precious to me, all that build up for the moment to be married and see each other looking so beautiful and knowing in a few short hours, that they would be married. We walked around and took some photos by the water and trees, the leaves were falling like confetti, it was really magical.
The family started to arrive and Courtney’s dad got a first look too. We continued with family photos before heading to Klemmers Banquet Center for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was performed by the best man, which added a special touch. It was great hearing the personal nature of their friendship and how Courtney and Kevin met in line for a movie. Who would have thought that he would be marrying that girl.
The vows were beautiful, and Courtney gave him her vows to read, as the first part of it was his email to her the night that they had met. Their love was sealed by a kiss and the celebrations began. The Aunts had made and wrapped chocolate for every guest, with a recipe of love on the back, as Kevin and Courtney love to cook together. The stones present on the cake table were for guests to write special messages to the couple, which made a lovely keepsake for them from the day. Thanks to my second shooter, Sarah Immel for your time and talent!
Such a beautiful night, with family and friends, dancing and love. Congratulations to you both!
